Image and Redesign

The past 18-24 months Flying Star have marked one of the most successful periods in Flying Star’s history. We have made major strides to solidify our role as the leading petroleum carrier in our areas of operation by adding some exciting new team members, new customers and improved business processes. To celebrate our progress we wanted to refresh our brand identity. Our customers easily connect with our name and the FAST logo mark yet we want to convey a renewed sense of energy and passion for the business.

Rather than changing the logo to a new mark, we updated and refined the mark and its font. In addition, we changed from the older shades of green to a new orange and blue palette. Orange is an active color which combines the energy of red and the happiness of yellow and represents enthusiasm, creativity, determination, success, and encouragement. The blue is a very established color and is complementary to the shades of blue used by our sister companies.

The redesign of is the primary execution of this new logo mark and color pallet. Our goal was to capture and visually convey Flying Star's renewed enthusiasm for its people, its customers and its mission to become downstream petroleum's most trusted partner.
