Please join Flying Star Transport in congratulating Ryan Reed as our new Director of Operations for Flying Star Transport. Ryan has been with the organization since December 2012. He started as the terminal manager in Lubbock and has been instrumental in doubling the size of the terminal. He also took over the Midland terminal and began to put his brand of leadership on that area as well.
“Ryan is a passionate leader that listens, values loyalty, and sets a high standard,” says Patrick Feeney, Director of Fleet Operations. “I am excited to see how he will bring out the talents in our other terminal managers and drivers as he takes on the field role.”
In addition, we are pleased to announce that Ramon Saldana will serve as the Lubbock Terminal Manager for Flying Star Transport. Ramon has served the organization since 2004. As the lead trainer, he has had a hand in training both the culture and process followed by the majority of our Lubbock drivers.
Ryan Reed says, “I have no doubt that Ramon will accept the challenge of taking over the Lubbock yard with the same passion and intensity with which he has accepted all other challenges. I know he will take Lubbock to even greater heights in the next months and years.”
